Homeschooling Blog Carnival: Ten and Counting
In honor of hosting their tenth Homeschooling Blog Carnival and “Crayons” upcoming tenth birthday, this week’s blog post collection resides at Dewey’s Treehouse and is called “Ten and Counting.”
New at the Homeschooling Blog Carnival
What will you be counting? You’ll be counting to ten, counting homeschooling benefits, counting costs, counting days – and years, counting on creativity, and even counting the times you’ve been asked that silly question!
This week, Parent at the Helm contributed “Crowded Classrooms Have Families Embracing Homeschooling” by Linda Dobson, which fit nicely into the “Counting the Homeschoolers” category.
From the blog post:
“If your child’s school is among the growing number that will see class size increased, lose classes deemed “non-essential” like art, music, science and more, or be filled with inexperienced teachers who will work for less than previous teachers who have been laid off, it’s important to start looking into the wonderful world of homeschooling and learn how it can benefit your children and family.”
Lots of good reading about homeschooling awaits you at the Carnival – let it entertain and enlighten you!
