Yesterday was a busy homeschooling related day. So that I could record an interview with Laurette Lynn for her Unplugged Mom Radio – to be aired May 6, I’m told – I had to be away from home all day. I did what I could to play “catch up” when I got back, but much didn’t get done, including reading a couple of hundred e-mails.
This morning I set to the task of catch up first thing. About halfway to my goal, I found one from Catherine Linn of Circle of Moms. It began: “Your blog Parent at the Helm has been nominated to the Top 25 Homeschooling Blogs list on Circle of Moms!” It’s an honor to be nominated, and this was certainly a very pleasant way to get going on that second cup of coffee this morning.
I just sailed on over there to punch in the information they require, and see I’m already waaaaay behind the eight-ball as far as voting is concerned.

It’s a long list, so I find it easiest to just use “control – F” to get the “find” function fired up (sorry, it’s that soft spot in my heart for alliteration getting out of control again!). Punch in Parent at the Helm to search – or even just the single word Helm, for that matter – and boom, you’re right there, ready to rock and roll and vote for us.
