We’ve Got Winners!

Who Won the TWO May Book Giveaways?

It’s time for congratulations to the two lucky winners of books in Parent at the Helm’s May Book Giveaway.

HomeTheFirstSchoolFirst, the winner of a copy of Barbara Blake Hannah’s Home: The First School is Liz (no last name given). I will be sending Liz an e-mail to find out how she would like her copy autographed, and Barbara will then ship it to her all the way from Jamaica (wait ’til you see the cool stamps!).

Next, I’m still shaking my head in disbelief. A last minute entry and, in the interest of full disclosure, a friend of mine, also sent an email telling me how upset her fellow VA Homeschoolers got when she kept winning their tote bags in drawings. When “The Randomizer” picked the winning number, I checked the entry list and, lo and behold, she has managed to also win a copy of Rebecca Rupp’s The Waterstone! At least we know she has a tote bag to carry it in! Oh, and it just happens to be her birthday, too! Happy birthday to one of my luckiest friends, and congratulations, Shay Seaborne. Let me know how you would like your book signed, and it will arrive in the mail, courtesy of Rebecca, from her most lovely spot in Vermont.

    Congrats, Liz,

I am sure you will find similaries with my Jamaican experience, no matter where in the world you live, as the Internet has truly created 'one world'.

    Happy HomeSchooling!

    ONE LOVE

    Barbara
