What a nice surprise to go to my mailbox and find a letter from Random House “pleased to inform you that your title has been selected to be included in Random House’s Electronic Book, or ‘ebook,’ publishing program.”
They were writing about the revised edition of The Homeschooling Book of Answers: The 101 Most Important Questions Answered by Homeschooling’s Most Respected Voices. If you haven’t seen this book yet, it’s like a conference within book covers! Several different homeschoolers answer each of the questions. Contributors include – but are far from limited to! – John Taylor Gatto, David and Micki Colfax, Sandra Dodd, Mark and Helen Hegener, Dr. Raymond and Dorothy Moore, Ann Zeise, Wendy Priesnitz…and many many more.
That title now joins two other books I’ve written that have already been turned into Kindle versions, and more recently have become available in additional electronic versions. If you have a reader, those titles are The First Year of Homeschooling Your Child: Your Complete Guide to Getting Off to the Right Start and The Ultimate Book of Homeschooling Ideas: 500+ Fun and Creative Learning Activities (for Kids ages 3-12). Both of these titles are also published by Random House, who purchased them from the original publisher, Prima Publishing.
You can find what’s available simply by doing a Google search on the book titles. These books are also available in a library edition, if you’d like to hint to your favorite librarian about what s/he could get you for your birthday. (grin) Thank you so very much for your continuing support!
