It’s official! The terrific folks at the Organization of Virginia Homeschoolers have posted info about their 2010 conference online.
It happens March 12 -13 at the Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen, 2880 Mountain Road, Glen Allen, Virginia.
Relying solely on volunteers, the growth of this organization has been, in a word, astounding! Their dedication has created a resource of which home educators in Virginia and elsewhere can be proud. Conference attendance surrounds you with like-minded people, which leaves you energized, inspired and encouraged when you get home…I highly recommend it. And if you can get to this one where we can meet, so much the better!
They’re calling for all able hands to get on board and help with the preparations. You can volunteer simply by sending an email to volunteers@vahomeschoolers.org. It’s a great way to play a roll in growing the homeschooling community, and have a good time while doing it. Thank you, Virginia Homeschoolers, for letting me be part of your work!
