Grandma Linda has taken part in many conferences over the years, so she knows how hard volunteers work and how many hours they donate to make such events fun and informative for everyone.
In honor of these countless volunteers and their dedication, Parent at the Helm has created an Events section (you’ll find it under “About”) to help volunteers’ efforts to spread the word! If you’ve got an alternative ed/homeschooling conference or event coming up, we’ll be happy to give you a link on the new Events section.
It’s easy to do!
1. Send an e-mail to info@parentatthehelm.com, including the following information:
2. Who is sponsoring the event, the date(s), the location, and a link to a website or an e-mail address where potential attendees can access all of the nitty-gritty details.
3. There really is no step three – that’s it – you’re done, and you’ve got another link to your event site!
